SyreWorld revealed that in 2023 he lost his mother to cancer and was emotionally shattered. Seeking solace, he traveled to Kenya, initially planning to stay for just three weeks. However, the warmth of the country’s people and environment extended his stay to seven months. This period became one of reflection, healing, and creative rebirth.
“In 2023, after losing my mother… I visited Kenya broken, and found healing in the love and warmth of its people. What was meant to be three weeks became seven months … Kenya became the place where the spark returned.”
During this time, he rediscovered his passion for music after a 12-year hiatus. The inspiration from his Kenyan experience led him to create the song, which blends gentle reggae and acoustic soul, carrying an uplifting and spiritual tone that celebrates everyday beauty, kindness, and Kenyan unity.
