A second-year female student from Goshen Medical College in Thika was on Sunday, November 2, 2025, fatally stabbed by a fellow student in a shocking incident that occurred in Makindu, Makueni County. According to preliminary reports, three female students from the college all of whom were on clinical attachment at Makindu Sub-County Hospital had gone out to celebrate the end of their attachment at a local entertainment spot. Neighbors said they heard loud screams and rushed to the scene, only to find one of the students crawling out of the house, bleeding and calling for help.
