This significant development follows the passing of ODM’s founding leader, Raila Odinga, on October 15, 2025.

Upon his arrival, Dr. Oginga familiarized himself with his new office and engaged in a brief meeting with key party officials, including Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, Executive Director Oduor Ong’wen, and

Later in the day, Dr. Oginga chaired a Central Management Committee (CMC) meeting at a hotel in Lavington, Nairobi.
