A strong wave of political support is building around Meru Governor Mutuma M’Ethingia as local leaders and church members continue to praise his leadership and development track record.
During a well-attended fundraiser at the MCK Igembe Synod, several leaders took the opportunity to call on congregants and residents of Meru to stand firmly behind Governor Mutuma in the 2027 general elections.
The leaders described him as a visionary and result-oriented leader who has already begun transforming the county’s development agenda after years of political division and stagnation. They urged voters not to be swayed by political propaganda but to focus on the tangible progress the current administration has made across sectors such as health, infrastructure, and agriculture.
One speaker noted that Meru needs continuity and stability, saying, “Governor Mutuma has shown he can deliver. He deserves another term to complete the transformation journey he has started. Let’s not go back to confusion and conflict; let’s move forward together.”
The event also highlighted the importance of unity between the county government and the church in driving community development and empowering youth and women across Meru.
As the 2027 elections draw closer, such endorsements signal the beginning of early political mobilization, with Governor Mutuma’s allies confident that his record will speak louder than politics.
For now, the message from Igembe is clear the call is growing stronger for Meru residents to rally behind Mutuma M’Ethingia and give him another term to finish the work he has started.
